Why is my life going so bad?

Physically, this is as good as life gets. I mean, there's nothing wrong with that aspect of my life. But that doesn't make me happy.

Mentally, my life is completely messed up now. I can't find a shred of happiness out of anything. I am in love with someone who is either completely oblivious, or completely unaccepting. I'm not sue which, but she has thrown herself at many different guys in her life. They all left her broken hearted. For whatever reason, they gave up on her. Many people gave up on her.

Not me.

It's saddening that I am rejected the way I am. I only care. I offer what I have, despite the abuse I recieve, yet all I recieve is more abuse.

There is one person who I share the story of my life with. He always listens, and he always gives advice. His personality is the only one I have ever seen that matches mine. He said last night, "People like you, of such soft, peaceful, charitable and forgiving nature, are almost too good for this world. Certainly too good for people like her. She should be on her knees, thanking God for letting a person like you into her life, for she could never thank him enough. She does not deserve your love and care, but I cannot tell you who to love. Things happen so fast, it's sometimes hard to see exactly what hit you. She will see you for what you are eventually. Just don't give up hope, no matter what."

I will abide by that advice. He's the only one who hasn't given up on ME. I thank him for his help.

Yes, I have changed. I have changed so much, I am hardly recognizable... But is that so bad?
